Living Proof is a science-backed haircare brand dedicated to solving real hair problems with innovative, clinically proven formulas, empowering everyone to achieve their healthiest hair yet.

While Living Proof had previously used other affiliate platforms to run their affiliate program, they were looking to revamp their approach, prioritizing scale and integration with their brand loyalty program.

SOLUTION

Living Proof partnered with LoudCrowd to launch a new creator-affiliate program, The Proof Society, offering performance-driven incentives such as 15% commission on all sales driven through their unique storefront pages on livingproof.com, along with gifting opportunities for user-generated content on Instagram and TikTok. 

To scale their program quickly, Living Proof actively recruited creators through social media and added a prominent “Affiliate” link to their site’s navigation bar, making it easy for both customers and creators to discover and join the program.

Upon joining, creators receive a free Living Proof dry shampoo – their best-selling product – to kickstart their journey as a Living Proof affiliate. To keep their community of affiliates engaged within the program, Living Proof has a dedicated Instagram account for creators to follow and sends out monthly newsletters packed with creator shoutouts, product education, and program performance tips such as best practices for sharing your storefront page.  

In addition to their creator-affiliate program, Living Proof also uses LoudCrowd to support paid influencer partnerships, curating custom storefronts for each creator through a white-glove experience and encouraging them to share these storefronts as part of their sponsored content.

RESULTS

In just six months, Living Proof’s creator-affiliate program has driven significant growth in both revenue and user-generated content, while rapidly expanding their community of engaged creators.

Each Living Proof creator gets a personal storefront on livingproof.com, where their followers automatically receive 15% off at checkout when shopping through their page. Creators can also share direct links to individual products and curated collections on their storefronts, making it easy to drive targeted traffic and deliver a seamless shopping experience.

Revenue

Living Proof is seeing a 5.4x ROI and a 7.5x higher conversion rate on storefronts compared to the rest of the Living Proof site. With a cost per acquisition 85% lower than the industry average, the program is proving to be both high-performing and cost-efficient.

Content

Living Proof creators are consistently posting about their favorite products on Instagram and TIkTok, and getting rewarded for it. The brand runs monthly content- and sales-based challenges where creators can earn cash for participating. A few challenges Living Proof has run include showing off their dry shampoo welcome gift, promoting Living Proof’s friends & family sale on social media, and rewarding the top seller of a specific product with a grand prize. This structured approach keeps the creator content fresh and focused on the brand’s priorities.

Their content strategy is paying off: 13% of all UGC on Instagram and TikTok now comes from creators in The Proof Society. With a CPM that is 26.5x more effective than the average influencer CPM, the brand is generating high-quality content at an incredibly efficient rate through their affiliates.
