Animal, known in the supplement and fitness industries for fueling strength athletes to reach their full potential, offers a robust lineup of supplements covering everything from performance to recovery. The brand has built a reputation for no-nonsense, results-driven nutrition, fostering a deeply loyal community of enthusiasts who embody its values.

To continue growing this community without the manual effort of one-to-one outreach, gifting, content and commission management, Animal needed a way to scale its creator community in an automated, highly scalable way.

 

Solution

Animal partnered with LoudCrowd to launch a creator-affiliate program, offering automated perks such as personalized storefront pages that live natively on Animal’s website and rewards in exchange for user-generated content. 

Upon approval into the program, creators receive a welcome gift providing them with all of the products they need to kickstart their journey to success as an Animal Ambassador. In addition to the welcome gift, Creators will receive 10% commission on all sales driven through their personal storefront page, and have the opportunity to earn up to $50 in Animal site credit every month for content they create on Instagram and TikTok.

Results

Animal’s creator-affiliate program achieved both their revenue and content goals, while scaling their community. The Animal Ambassador program has already quadrupled in size since launching with LoudCrowd last year, and it’s only continuing to expand.

Revenue

Each Animal creator receives a creator storefront on animalpak.com, driving an impressive 8.34% conversion rate. The storefronts are not only seeing an 11.1% higher average order value compared to the rest of the site but also attracting new customers, with 52% of storefront orders being placed by first-time buyers. Animal is also achieving a cost per acquisition of just $17.96—significantly lower than the industry average of $85, highlighting the efficiency and impact of their creator-driven strategy.

Content

Animal creators have the chance to earn site credit to shop on animalpak.com in exchange for creating content. The more a creator posts, the more products they receive to showcase! Along the way, they consistently share their fitness journey, giving credit to Animal for the support that fuels their progress and gains.

Animal’s monthly content incentive structure is:

  • $25 Animal site credit for 2 Instagram In-Feed, Reels, or TikToks per month 
  • $50 Animal site credit for 5 Instagram In-Feed, Reels, or TikToks per month

The content incentives have significantly boosted content creation, driving a 76% increase in posts from program members over the past six months. Currently, Animal creators generate 45.7% of the brand’s total user-generated content across Instagram and TikTok.

Additional Perks

To keep creators engaged in their program, Animal regularly runs content challenges, offering exciting bonus opportunities to win prizes ranging from $50 cash to $500 in Animal site credit. Creators can participate by following simple challenge guidelines, such as posting content about their favorite Animal Supplements, or spreading awareness about an Animal-hosted event on their story, for a chance to win.

In addition to these challenges, Animal keeps creators informed and inspired through a dedicated monthly newsletter featuring program updates, sneak peeks at upcoming product launches, and important brand announcements.

Additionally, Animal leverages LoudCrowd’s commission-by-product functionality, strategically boosting commission rates on select products or collections—especially during new product launches—to further incentivize creators to align their content with the brands’ overall marketing strategy and drive sales.
